Wisegal Coffee was established in April of 2024 by two fun-loving gals, Brylee Lance and Rachel Bezdek.

Brylee Lance

Hello, I’m Brylee! I am co owner/ co founder of Wisegal coffee! My coffee addiction started with sneaking sips of my parents morning brew. As a Utah native good brew was hard to come by, I am always in search for the perfect cup. When I’m not sippin’ you can find me at home beating my husband at Mario Kart, being a Mom, enjoying a comedy show or drooling over airplanes. I love coffee and cannot wait to share my favorite flavors with you!

Rachel Bezdek

Hey guys! My name is Rachel. I am co-owner/co-founder of Wisegal Coffee. I have been married for 4 years and I was raised in el dorado county. I love coffee. I love the taste, smell, and the science behind it. I think something I love more than coffee is serving others. So why not put those two together? :) I am super excited to start this journey of a mobile coffee booth and meeting new people! When I’m not making coffee you can find me hiking, backpacking, taking a nap, or hanging out with my amazing hubby!

APRIL 2024

It all started at a local restaurant in Cameron Park, when the two met to have dinner. Both Brylee and Rachel had a life long dream of opening their own coffee shop. At the time, the girls both worked full time jobs in their established careers. They discussed the shared dream of coffee and decided on starting a mobile coffee bar. Now, it just needed a name… but what could it be? Brylee and Rachel love to crack jokes and they both bring a fun attitude when they walk into the room. Thus, Wisegal was born. Bringing a fun spin on the term “wise guy”. For the first 6 months of their coffee adventure, they operated on two mobile carts doing events all over the county. By October of 2024, they were presented with the opportunity to open their own brick and mortar in the old train depot on Mother Lode Dr. in Shingle Springs. They quickly jumped on it and officially opened December 7th of 2024.

Genesis Coffee Roasters

Genesis Roasters is a coffee company that was born out of a desire to provide high-quality, flavorful craft coffee. Founded by Alex and Kyle, the company is on a mission to give back to the community, both locally and globally. They took a leap of faith in 2021 and invested in a roaster, not knowing what the future held. Today, Alex is the Boss and Roaster, while Kyle gets to brew wonderful coffee on a daily basis.
